Co-Opera presents Puccini’s ‘Gianni Schicchi’, for Italian Opera at Piccolo Family Farm as a part of A Taste of Italy: Griffith festival.

Star baritone Nicholas Cannon returns to perform the title role in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, widely considered to be one of the funniest operas of all time. Co-Opera bring a cast of leading South Australian singers in this comic farce featuring some of Puccini’s best music, including the famous aria ‘O mio babbino caro.”

Ticket price includes a fully catered dinner using local produce by Limone Dining, world class performance by Co-Opera and matching local beverages, on the beautiful grounds of Piccolo Family Farm.

Tickets are sold in either a table of 8 or half table (4 persons).

Co-Opera brings the spectacle of grand opera and music theatre to more intimate settings throughout regional Australia. The productions—sung in English—are immediately accessible, often irreverent, and tailored to every venue. Audiences have been enjoying their signature cabaret performances in opera houses, schools, sheep-sheds, and open paddocks throughout the country since 1990, and the company has helped to launch the international careers of dozens of young soloists.
