The search is on for aspiring songwriters in the Griffith Shire to be part of a music industry mentoring program touring regional NSW this April. The SongMakers Holiday Sessions are presented by national music organisation, APRA AMCOS, as part of the Office for Regional Youth Holiday Break program in partnership with Create NSW.
FREE places are being offered to 16 young people, aged 16-21, to participate in the program. They will spend 2 days in the coming school holidays, writing and recording songs and learning about music careers from some of Australia’s most exciting creators. MEET THE MENTORS
KLP is a singer, songwriter, producer and DJ who has worked with Skrillex and Slumberjack, has graced festival stages such as Splendour in the Grass, and whose track ‘Energy’ with Stace Cadet peaked at Number 1 on the ARIA club chart.
Chloe Dadd is a singer-songwriter and producer who has recently returned from a sold-out European tour performing as part of the band MAY-A and has worked with artists including Lime Cordiale and Meg Mac.
Ash Kennedy is an artist/writer, session vocalist and performer who has worked with Tones and I, Genesis Owusu (& The Brisbane & Sydney Symphony Orchestra), THNDO, and The Reubens, both on stage and in the studio.
